Jeff King is a writer who lives in Canada with his family, several rabbits, chickens, and a 110-year-old printing press that he and his brother-in-law are attempting to use unironically. His work has appeared in McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, Johnny America, Robot Butt, Jane Austen’s Wastepaper Basket, MuddyUm, Slackjaw, Little Old Lady Comedy, JAKE, Mirk, Defenestration Magazine, and Bewildering Stories.
In addition to his humour writing and fiction, Jeff also sends (occasional) newsletters. At Home Histories focuses on local and family history. The Given World explores technology, imagination, and the alienating effects of modernity.
Jeff holds a PhD in English Literature from Western University. He quite reasonably asks that his children address him as Dr. Dad. They don’t.
